Trifle a Day

What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but, scattered along life’s pathway, the good they do is inconceivable.

Joseph Addison (1672 – 1719)

Documenting a whole day in pictures was not as easy as I thought.  It was fun for the first few hours but after that it was kind of tedious.  Beth pointed out that my instagram friends were going to hate me because I kept adding pictures.  My apologies to anyone who got sick of seeing stupid pictures.  It was also pointed out to me that if I was experimenting with social media I needed to tweet what I was doing and add a vague facebook update.  I just couldn’t keep up with all this.  My hats off to the younger generation.

Let the yawning commence…

Good Morning!!  Dog…coffee…

Walking to market with Beth, because she has no life and has nothing better to do then go to the farmers market on Friday morning with her Mom.  I feel so loved.

Evil little dogs, they never stop yapping.  Seriously, the owner is walking them and you can hear them coming.

This was not an evil little dog, Beth took his picture because he waddled and it made her laugh.

Mother, daughter bonding at the liquor store.

Quick stop at the bakery.

Stop, drop and pray?

The walk home.

Lover, wine, and the front porch.  I managed to make it to noon before I got bored of the experiment.

How was your day?

  1. I’ve never thought of documenting my entire day in pictures. Though I suppose I do a little when away for the day at an event. Doing this for work would be tedious. And also drive people crazy. And me crazy. Maybe on a Saturday when there’s nothing much going on.

It seems like you had a pretty good day!

  2. How nice to be able to walk home along the water like that. That bakery looks pretty damn good too. I really enjoyed your walk!
