I am in my 40′s, screaming towards menopause, divorced, remarried and presently wearing out my second husband who I refer to in my posts as ‘Lover’. I do this because he is in fact my lover and my friend.
Between us we have 6 kids, we refer to ourselves as ‘The Amucks’ which is an acronym of all of our last names. Sort of. My 3 children are, 20, 18 and 15 and his 3 are 17, 15 and 13.
I am not crunchy organic, I don’t homeschool, I can’t quote bible versus, I am not the perfect parent (actually I was the perfect parent until I had kids). I support gay marriage. I support universal health care. I support pro-choice. I didn’t say I was pro-abortion, I said I was pro-choice. I am a proud Canadian who is married to an American.

I want to know why I can not add you to my reader. It is pithing me off.
I have never read this section of your page before and I have to laugh … you are so friggen much like me, it rather freaks me out a little. Mind you, I am married to a Newfie, not an American and though we have 4 between us, I have never met his two boys.
Still … love the comment about pro-choice, not pro-abortion. I have said that exact sentence MANY times.
This piece of writing offers clear idea designed for the new viewers of blogging, that actually how to do running a blog.
What a great blog…or website! I’ll add computer knowledge to my bucket-list. I have enjoyed quite a few of your books from your list. I know your going to like the Divinity Code. I’m still waiting for a new Wally Lamb.
Good luck with your extended family……..all teenaged……God bless you.
Well it isn’t only your children and family who read this now
I came across your blog looking for the work amuck and much to my surprise I found your blog. I was drawn in by your headline about weightloss…40 extra pounds I have hanging off me, after working so hard to lose it all and get down to almost the size I wanted to be I got pregnant for the 4th and last time and let myself go, so I feel your pain. I look forward to reading more, I enjoy the way you write, I have a hard time finding authors I like because they tend to make me fall asleep, your words draw me in. If you decide to write a novel, let me know I’ll be one of your biggest Canadian fans
Victoria, you’ve made my day! Thank You!
